In addition to leading singing groups, Barbara performs with an amateur vocal trio called ‘The 4tunes’ (formerly The Three Belles). The group has performed at events such as Alton’s ‘Last Night of the Proms’ (see Links) and the Alton Herald’s Classic Car Show as well as taking part in small charitable events such as The Salvation Army’s ‘Music For Pleasure’ programme.
The group’s repertoire includes wartime favourites including an Andrews Sisters medley and also songs from the musicals, both old and new.
All three members have been involved with ‘Singing for the Brain’ as volunteers and all have performed as principals with the Alton Operatic & Dramatic Society and other local amateur societies..
